Officine Meccaniche Colombo

The challenge

Officine Meccaniche Colombo has run precision machining contracts for automotive and industrial clients for four decades, but its website hadn't been touched since 2014. New buyers researching suppliers online found a slow, unstructured site that undersold the actual scale and precision of the workshop — and the owner suspected it had already cost at least one serious enquiry.

The approach

We structured the site around what an industrial buyer actually needs before requesting a quote: capabilities, tolerances, certifications, and real examples of finished work — not a generic 'about us' paragraph. The homepage leads with capability, not company history.

The outcome

The rebuilt site launched on schedule with the owner able to update the capabilities and certifications pages directly. Enquiries from new industrial buyers picked up within the first month after launch.

Page load time — 4.8s → 1.6s

New enquiries, first month — +40%

Pages the owner can now edit directly — all of them

Our old site made us look like a two-person garage. The new one finally shows the workshop we actually run — and enquiries from serious buyers went up within the first month.
