Studio Legale Ferri
The challenge
Studio Legale Ferri's website ran on a WordPress install with more than thirty accumulated plugins, several of them abandoned by their original developers. Nobody at the firm dared update anything for fear of breaking the site, and even minor changes required emailing a freelancer who took weeks to respond.
The approach
We rebuilt the site on a modern, documented stack with a genuinely editable CMS, migrating content and preserving the firm's search rankings. Once live, the firm moved onto a Website Care & Support retainer, so updates, security patches and small content changes happen on a predictable monthly schedule instead of an open-ended freelance relationship.
The outcome
The office manager now updates lawyer bios and practice-area pages directly, with no developer involved. The site hasn't had unplanned downtime since launch, and small change requests are turned around within the retainer's agreed response window.
Plugins, before → after — 34 → 6
Unplanned downtime since launch — 0
Average change-request turnaround — 1.5 business days
“We'd stopped touching our own website because we were afraid of breaking it. The new build is something our office manager can actually update — and it hasn't gone down once.”
