Nº Verde Skincare

The challenge

Nº Verde had built a loyal following through markets and pop-up events, but its online store ran on a generic template shared with thousands of other small shops. The checkout added steps that had nothing to do with how the brand's actual customers wanted to buy, and the catalogue was hard for the two-person team to keep current.

The approach

We mapped the actual purchase path — browse by skin concern, not just product category — and rebuilt the checkout around a guest-first flow with shipping costs shown before the last step, not after. The catalogue structure was rebuilt so either founder could add a new product or run a promotion without touching code.

The outcome

The new store launched with the full catalogue migrated and the team trained on day one. Cart abandonment at the shipping step dropped noticeably in the weeks after launch, and the founders now run their own seasonal promotions without asking a developer.

Checkout steps — 5 → 3

Catalogue migrated — full catalogue, zero downtime

Time to first self-managed promotion — 9 days post-launch

Our old store looked like every other shop on the same platform. The checkout redesign alone paid for itself in the first two months.
